The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the Foundling Museum

For their first joint appearance of 2022, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Foundling Museum. The Museum, which Catherine became patron of in 2019, shares the history of the Foundling Hospital, Britain's first home for children at risk of abandonment. The couple met with representatives from across the care system and spoke to those who lived in the system to discover more about their formative years.
William and Catherine participated in a therapy session with individuals who lived in the care system and participated in a roundtable discussion about how to best help children in the care system with experts and stakeholders. The couples conversation included topics such as how to help children in the care system have a more stable childhood and how to support young adults as they leave the care system and enter the world.

For the visit, Catherine wore a mid-length teal coat she first debuted in early 2020 that has not been identified. She paired it with her favorite jigsaw wide legged pants, a black turtleneck and earrings from accessorize. Overall, the look continues with the business-casual style Catherine has been wearing more frequently over the past several years.

Catherine, a longtime advocate for children's earliest years, last year launched the Royal Foundation's center for early childhood. The goal of the center is to focus on promoting & commissioning high-quality research, work with people across the private, public and voluntary sectors to discover solutions and develop creative campaigns to raise awareness and inspire action. The Duchess of Cambridge has spoken at length about the importance of the early years and her shared her commitment to giving every child the best start in life.
2022 promises to be an exciting one for Royals Fans as it will mark the Queen's 70th year as monarch with celebrations set to take place across the country throughout the year. William & Catherine will, no doubt, have a busy calendar in the coming months with jubilee events, tours (covid-pending) and plenty of engagements to highlight the causes close to their heart.
