Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Belize today to begin their week long tour of the Caribbean. The tour will consist of visits to Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas over the next week to mark the Queens Platinum Jubilee. William and Catherine landed at the Philip SW Goldson International airport in Belize where they were greeted by Ambassadors and Diplomats.Prince William inspected the honour guard and took the royal salute before the couple enjoyed the Belize National Anthem. William and Catherine spent some time speaking to those assembled at the airport before they departed for the Laing Building for a meeting with the Prime Minister and First Lady.

The pair met Johnny Briceño and his wife Her Excellency Rossana Briceño and William shared how happy they were to be there, sentiments that Mr. Briceño echoed. The couples spoke for about an hour during which time William and Catherine gave them gifts including Smythson stationery.

Catherine wore a bespoke lace Jenny Packham peplum dress in blue which coordinated with the Belize flag while William opted for a light blue suit jacket. Catherine re-wore her sapphire earring and necklace set she had originally debuted when meeting the President and First Lady of Ukraine in 2020 and wore again for the Commonwealth Day Service this year. Fashion is always a focal point on Royal Tours and Catherine has several tactics for paying homage to the countries they visit.
