Rest in Peace Ma'am

I know that this inevitability has been discussed the past decade but I truly don’t have any words. I am not just sad, I am absolutely heartbroken.

I want to offer my sincerest condolences first and foremost to her family. Her children and their spouses, Charles & Camilla, Anne & Timothy, her second son, and Edward & Sophie. Her Grandchildren and their spouses, Peter, Zara & Mike, William & Catherine, Harry & Meghan, Beatrice & Edoardo, Eugenie & Jack, Louise, and James. Her great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, Savannah, Isla, George, Mia, Charlotte, Christopher, Louis, Lena, Archie, August, Lucas, Lilibet, Sienna

Next my deepest sympathy to her countrymen and women and to all those around the commonwealth. To all of those who admired and loved her from afar to those who knew & loved her intimately and everyone in between. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed the world over.

The Majority of the world has only ever known one Queen and she was the embodiment of the very best of British culture. She was the best and there is no other way to say it.

If there is to be a silver lining in this loss it is the knowledge she is once again with her Mother and Father, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, her sister, Princess Margaret and her beloved husband of 73 years, Prince Philip.

I will share any information regarding funeral arrangements or other pertinent information once the Palace releases it. I will preemptively warn that any jokes, obscene comments or anything blatantly insensitive will immediately be blocked and reported with no exceptions.

I will be taking some time to grieve myself and I recommend doing the same should you need to. You are already so missed, Your Majesty.

Rest in Peace Ma’am.

God Save the King.
