Princess Eugenie launches conservation ride

While Princess Eugenie of York works full time as the director of Hauser & Wirth, she still makes plenty of time for charity work. Through the years she has backed a number of important causes including environmentalism. Her wedding to Jack Brooksbank last year was plastic free and she has spoken about the importance of not using single-use plastics, having cut it out of her own life over the past year.
The Princess lent her support to another important cause yesterday; protecting our oceans. The Blue Marine Foundation has 75 conservationist participating in a ride from London to Monaco and Princess Eugenie was there to help launch the event. The Blue Marine Foundation was founded with the goal to protect our oceans from pollution, overfishing and habitat loss.
The ride will take place over the next 8 days with the goal of raising £500,000 for projects in the Maldives, Ascension Island, Patagonia, Cyprus, Namibia and Azerbaijan. If you would like to support the riders you can donate here.
The Princess will be celebrating her first wedding anniversary next month and many fans have long been awaiting news of a possible pregnancy. While nothing has been confirmed, speculation will likely heat up after their first anniversary. xx
