Starting off holiday celebrations earlier this month, Princess Beatrice was joined by her fiance, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at Carols by Candlelight, hosted by St. Lukes Church. The event was in aid of St. George's school in Ethiopia and continues the Princess's work supporting the Northwood African Education Foundation in her role as Patron.

This is the second official event that Edoardo has attended alongside Beatrice since the couple announced their engagement this Autumn. The pair have been seen out together on a number of occasions since their relationship went public last year. The pair are set to marry sometime in Spring of 2020 but no additional details have been released.

Carols by Candlelight included performances by the London Nordic Choir, Friedereke Krum, Natalie Emmanuel and Nadia Cohen. The event raised over £14,000 which will go towards supporting the four hundred students at St. George's school and assist in their expansion efforts to help more children in Ethiopia.

Princess Beatrice is expected to attend Christmas in Sandringham alongside other members of the Royal Family. It has not been announced if her fiance will join her but we likely will not see Edoardo at Sandringham for Christmas until next year since he has a son who he will likely be spending the holidays with but no announcements have been made yet.

If Edoardo did attend, he would be the second royal fiance to spend Christmas with the Queen. The Duchess of Sussex was present during Christmas before her marriage to Prince Harry in 2017.
