During the reception, Prince William gave a speech discussing his love for the country and how he and Catherine hoped to share their love of the continent with their children. He spoke about how, after his mothers death, Prince Charles took William and Harry to Africa as well as his decision to propose to Catherine in Kenya ten years ago.

The Reception gave fans a lovely reunion between Catherine, Sophie and Anne who have not been seen together at a public engagement since Trooping the Colour. The Countess of Wessex was celebrating her 55th Birthday during the reception. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's next announced engagement will be on Monday 27th January when they attend a commemorative service for U.K. Holocaust Memorial Day. xx
