Princess Charlotte's first day of school

Princess Charlotte joined her older brother, Prince George, for her first day at Thomas Battersea Day School in London. She was accompanied by her mother and father, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and met with the head of the lower school during drop off.
While there was a small group of media at the gates for drop off, her parents also shared a picture of Princess Charlotte alongside her brother at their Kensington Palace home. The little Prince and Princess were matching in the school uniform jumpers and both of them seemed excited for the new school year.
Thomas Battersea Day School has roughly five hundred students between the ages of four and thirteen and offers a far reaching curriculum that includes Art, Ballet, French, Drama, Music and P.E. for all pupils. Prince George is said to love his Ballet lessons and is rumored to be very happy that his little sister is joining him at school.

The Duke of Cambridge mentioned this morning that Princess Charlotte was "very excited" to be starting school. Her mother carried her school bag in while she held onto her hand and some royal watchers noticed a sparkly unicorn keychain on the side of it. Princess Charlotte seems to have a love for the magical animal as she was also spotted with a unicorn change purse during a polo match this summer.
While the photos were adorable and it is always a complete joy to see the Cambridge children with their parents, it will likely be a little while before another family outing. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be doing a tour this fall to Pakistan, their children will not be coming along since two out of three are officially in school full time. Good Luck to Prince George and Princess Charlotte and all the other kids who are officially back in school, have a great school year!
