Her Majesty Queen Mary of Teck
26th May 1867 - 24th March 1953
Mary of Teck was born Victoria Mary Augusta Louise Olga Pauline Claudine Agnes. She was Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Empress of India, from 6 May 1910 until 29 January 1936 as the wife of King-Emperor George V.
Two of her sons were Kings of the United Kingdom because her eldest son Edward abdicated the role in order to marry Wallis Simpson. Her second son, Albert became King George VI and helped lead the United Kingdom through the Second World War.
She had four other children; Mary, Henry, George and John.
